1. Course Notification

NIELIT centres release official notifications to conduct training in the following NSQF courses on their website and through wide publicity on social media and local daily newspapers:

    • Foundation of Artificial Intelligence Technology
    • Foundation of Data Science and Analytics
    • Fundamentals of Data Curation using Python
    • Fundamentals of Data Annotation using Python
  2. Application Submission

Interested candidates must apply online using the registration link: https://student.nielit.gov.in/. The process includes:

    • Filling out personal details (name, contact info, address)
    • Providing academic qualification details
    • Selecting the course they wish to enrol in
    • Uploading relevant documents such as a photo and ID proof (if required)
  3. Selection Process

Seats are limited (typically 20 per course per batch), and admissions are offered on a First-Come, First-Serve (FCFS) basis. Shortlisted candidates must undergo document verification of their educational qualifications. Upon meeting the eligibility criteria, seats are allotted accordingly. Courses are offered free of cost, fully funded under the IndiaAI FutureSkills initiative by MeitY.

  4. Training

Once seats are allotted, selected candidates must attend classes physically at their assigned NIELIT centre. Attendance in person is mandatory to ensure active participation in hands-on training and interactive sessions. The course will commence on the date specified in the original notification.

  5. Certification

Upon successful completion, an examination will be conducted by the respective NIELIT Centre. Candidates who pass will be awarded an NSQF-aligned certificate, officially recognising their competency in the relevant domain. The certificate is downloadable from certificate.nielit.gov.in and is also accessible via Digilocker.
